Delivery and Setup
Delivery is available Monday - Friday. Call us to discuss night and weekend catering options. The delivery fee includes drop-off and setup at your location. In the process, you can select a 30-minute window for delivery and share any additional instructions.
Sophia's Café provides appropriate service items, napkins, and plastic cutlery with your order at no extra charge. Rental equipment such as china, linens, tables, and chairs are available upon request via phone at (703) 850-3598.
Last Minute Ordering
The team at Sophia's Café Catering works with you to accommodate most last-minute orders. If you are unable to order on our website for next-day delivery, please give us a call at (703) 850-3598.
Orders and Cancellations
While planning your order, please be aware that some items may require 36 to 48 hours notice. We will always do our best to accommodate last-minute orders. Cancellations received after 4 pm the day prior may be subject to a 50% charge. Orders canceled within six hours of delivery will be charged in full, including those canceled due to inclement weather.

Here at Sophia's Café Catering, we strive to be very direct and honest with our clients, sharing our business practices, green efforts, recipes, and more. We've added an FAQ section to share even more about ourselves and our practices.
We are primarily located in the Northern Virginia area, doing regular business across Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
We take new inquiries Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, but you can contact us anytime, and we will have a representative respond to you as soon as possible.
Once you have coordinated with one of our customer service representatives, you will be able to contact her or him via email or phone if you have any questions leading up to your event.
Also, our kitchens are open for evening and weekend deliveries and service upon request.
There is no extra cost for plates, bowls, napkins, and cups, when applicable. Plastic serving utensils and cutlery will also be provided.
If you are looking for specific disposable equipment, such as upscale disposables, there may be an upcharge depending on what you order. We also offer china and glassware for an additional fee.
There are so many allergies and dietary restrictions that it is impossible not to think about them! As a caterer, we feel it is our responsibility to provide solutions for any type of limitations or preferences. We offer vegetarian and vegan, gluten-free options.
If you have more specific concerns or colleagues and guests with a variety of different restrictions, call us to speak with a dedicated representative. We will work out the best solution for your specific case.
Yes, our trained staff can work with you on all aspects of your event, from menu creation options to rentals and staffing, while always keeping your budget in mind.
No problem. Just call one of our customer service representatives, and they will provide suggestions and work to accommodate any changes or requests.
Yes. We can provide bartenders, wait staff, and chefs. Our hired staff is trained, professional and reliable.
We request at least a 30-minute delivery window, allowing us sufficient time for setup. For example, if your group wants to eat at 12:00 noon, we will deliver between 11:15 and 11:45 am.
